This week was crazy! Cole had an emergecncy root canal and then the next day he found out he has pneumonia. The poor guy can't stop coughing and has no energy. I wish I could help him feel better faster.
I started a new workout and fitness and diet plan. I will say I have dropped 6 pounds and I am feeling great. My goal is another 25ish pounds and I will be happy. I am using an app on my droid to keep track of my calories and exercise that I do. It helps so much! It tells me how well I am doing and let's me see how bad some things really are for me. I am so excited. I also got a new book, that gives tips on how to lighten up food everyone loves so they don't notice. I am excited for my life change and can't wait to be a healthier me!
How do you all keep healthy? Do you use apps? What meals do you cook? How do you treat your self to candy and cakes? I need tips on how to keep on the good track, but still have sweets. I know moderation, but I want a banana split! I have wanted one for over a week and I want it now!

Deal Alert!
Who LOVES Pier 1 but not their prices? I DO!! I LOVE pier 1 but just can never seem to afford them. Well today their deal of the day on facebook is a $10 off of a $10 purchase. That means, you can get free stuff from pier 1. They have tons under $10, candles, kitchen items, picture frames and pillows! The stores also have items up to 75% off, not to mention, you can shop online, have the store employees pick it out and you go pick it up! The coupon is good till the 27th, so you have time to go, you do not have to rush today. I am so excited, I got a picture frame that matches my apartment perfectly for FREE! I was sooo excited when I saw this!
Now back on to some not as exciting news. Cole is on his way home, I am so happy I will get to see him tomorrow. I am also so very unhappy that his teacher is not going to stop for his class to get dinner or lunch, they are on a 13 hour drive and will get no food. I do not think this is fair or legal since it is a school trip. But none the less this does not surprise me, the teacher wasnt even in the same hotel as the kids, nor was he prepared for this trip, i mean he didnt even notice when people went missing!
Well, today I went to the local produce stand, owned by a local farmer and got everything to make some yummy tomatillo and tomato salsa! I am hoping to not only make enough for now, but enough to can a jar or two also. This is going to be my first time to can a salsa, I have only canned a jelly so far, but I will soon see if I have what it takes to do salsa!
So what do you guys make in bulk to save for the winter and to help save money? I am looking for lots of things I can make, then can and eat later to save some money. Would love some more ideas!
Also, are you looking for a way to lower your electric in the OKC Metro? Well, today I was watching the news, and saw these new meters that were put it now allow the company to charge a "perk usage" rate. That means any electric you use during 2-7pm will cost you more. Try turning up you ac, and using fans to move the cool air already in the house. Then again at night turn it back up, when the "peak" is over. Do you have any money saving tips? Would love to hear them, my parents bill is around $300+ a month in the summer due to the heat.
Now, I must go start to get my salsa stuff together, read up on how to can salsa and then get ready to can!

Day at White Water! Today I spent the day at White Water with my sister and her best friends family. It was a blast, baby Peyton had a ton of fun, except for the wave pool, she wasnt the biggest fan of that, but none the less she enjoyed her time at the pool! Her older brother on the other hand had a blast in the rides and wave pool! I will say, it was a bit toasty out there today, 107 just isnt really my cup of tea.
Good news from the body shop! I should hopefully have Cuppie back in a week and a half! I can not wait, I love my little car, nothing against my dads..but I prefer a faster car with an arm rest! After my car is done, time for my dads car to go in, poor Bean got hit pretty bad too. He will need a lot of work to get back to his pre dented state.
Cole at the drag races! Well Cole is having a blast at the races, they have been in the pits, talking with the drivers and finding out about the cars. I told Cole to find me something neat to decorate my new apartment with, in my mind, I think small, like a gear, some spark plugs or maybe a dip stick. In Coles mind, he thought large..very large! He got me a drag slick..yes a tire..a real tire that was on the track at Denver. This is why I love Cole, he was thinking outside of the box! He wants me to make a table out of this tire, which in a home that I own is a great idea, now an apartment that I rent with carpet that CAN NOT get stained, not such a great idea. But like I said, this is why I love him, thinking outside of the box, only my baby would get me a tire!
Making the move, I have started to gather the last bits of the stuff for the apartment. All I really need now is to get my cable and internet and move in a last few items. I am excited to get moved in and start school and start making new friends. I just want to get my apartment done, so when it is time to move up for good it is done, decorated, bed made and cleaned completely. But for some odd reason, I feel like I will forget one very important part of my apartment, what it is, I do not know, especially since everything at my old apartment is in boxes going to my new one.

WE HAVE AC
So last night we got our AC fixed!! I am sooo excited, it is amazing to have cool air again after 3 weeks!
Okay, so on to life. We have now gotten 3 ladies pinned down for reviews and giveaways! I am so excited to offer these to you guys! I think you will enjoy all 3 of them! We have Passion Parties, Taste of the Ozarks and Elite Party Creations! What else would you guys like to see? Give me some ideas, that way I know what you would all like to see!
So, Cole is in Colorado and excited for the races! He and his classmates will be in the pitts at the 2011 Mopar Drag Races! Right now they are just all trying to figure out what they are doing, they have no idea as there instructor has not told them anything and hardly watches them. Which is driving Cole nuts, he and I like to have everything planned out, not we will figure it out.
This week, I have started to gather the final touches for my apartment. My kitchen almost has everything it needs, my bathroom needs a shower rod and it will be done, living room and bedroom need some more color, so art work is a must! I must say I am getting so excited to move in and be back in my own little home! I am sad though, Peaches will not be with me since my classes go so long without breaks.
This week, I have started a change in my life. I have decided that I want to be back to my pre-surgery weight of 140, which means I need to drop 30 pounds! I know I can do it, I am already doing well, finding new recipes, and switching things up to make them healthier is becoming fun! If I keep my good work up, I could be down 10 pounds in about a month! I will be so excited to be the size I was 2 surgeries ago, I know I could never go back to high school weight, to much to loose and it would require to much working out, which I can not do, thanks to all my surgeries.
How do you all stay healthy? What is your favorite healthy treat? How do you keep going, when you start to get bored?
Well, off to my garden! Time to pick a pepper, give them food and water them!

Who Want's A Giveaway?

Now on to life, this week Cuppie went to the body shop, she is going to get her hail damage fixed and I couldn't be happier! Down side is no car and I have to rely on others to take me to run my errands. Plus side, I have more time stuck at home to finish finding the last few things I need for my apartment in Stillwater. Anyone know a cheap place to find knives in a butcher block? My new apartments doesnt really have room for me to store them any other way then on the counter, not to mention my $3 knives have rusted and dont even cut bread anymore. Thats what I get for only spending $3 on 3 knives!
When you moved your kids or yourself in to college what are the essential things you forgot to get? I feel like I have forgotten something major, but I have all my large pieces of furniture, and I have already made my bed, so what could I have forgotten?
*WARNING* I am going to vent about how annoyed I am next..skip or read..your choice!
So, I need a full jaw reconstruction due to TMJ, if my insurance denies the surgeries it will be a $45,000+ surgery. I have already found out my lovely insurance company will only cover surgical cost, nothing needed for after the surgery. Yet they have denied the splint needed to be used in the surgery to set my jaw in the place it needs to be, I dont even take it home, and yet, still denied! Thats a $1,300 out of pocket split, but I think I will just appeal that one and try again to get it covered! Has anyone out there ever had TMJ surgery in the past few years? I am trying to decide how close to school I can have it with out missing to much class.

They will be in both the pits and in the stands, he is so excited and I am so happy for him to have made it this far! His class will be able to look at the cars, see the action track side and see what it means to be a pit crew! I am so excited, I have it set up to DVR, just incase they make TV, I want to have it!
Now, it is time, to go tend to my garden, check on my plants, water and decide if I want to pluck my one pepper.

Apartment Break In
So, last week I found out that someone had broken in to my apartment at school. Nothing was taken, i am so thankful that I had nothing electronic wise in the apartment so they broke in for no reason! Just had to drive an hour away to go talk to the police, who are now going to watch my apartment.

No A/C
So still working on moving from my parents to my apartment in Stillwater. It is getting bad now with no a/c at my parents, it's over 90 every night in the house and hotter during the day, not to mention putting a laptop in my lap doesn't help. Sorry I have not been so quick at writing on here, but it's just to hot.

Reviews and Giveaways
Okay, so I know I said I would try and have this done yesterday, but with moving it hasn't been finished yet. So I will try to work on it more when I have some down time. I will say we have a lot of interest in sponsorship, so keep sending them over to the blog so we can get the ball rolling.

Let me tell you about the moving process in 100+ heat. It is not fun, not to mention, my parents house where I am staying till I am fully moved in has no ac since it broke yesterday and they can't come look at it till Monday. So far, I have cleaned the whole apartment and bug bombed it as well as set traps and sprayed outside to make sure I do not have any bugs..I really hate bugs and don't care that I have not seen any there I know they like to come to houses. So tomorrow is move all the big stuff in one load day, that way all I have left is clothes, electronics and other small items. Anyone have any tips on moving and packing and unpacking isn't such a long process? I should be a pro by now as much as I have moved in and out of dorms and apartments for school.
Well, time to get back to life and pack up the car for tomorrow then go watch cole's nephew play in the little league world series! So excited that he made it this far! That little guy really loves baseball and wants to take the trophy home!

Summer Fun
Well today is Cuppie's day to get a new key! Can someone please tell me why it cost over $400 to get a spare key! I mean really why does the previous owner nit give the dealership all of the keys, what good are they to you once you sell you car? I don't keep my spare keys.
Now since Cuppie will be at the shop for awhile to do her key, Cole, my sister and I have all decided to go to the water park for the day. I am excited to be lazy and get some color, not excited to pay outrageous prices for food and drinks. Oh well it is nice to get a day in the sun and have some fun.
This week, Cole and I will be going up to my apartment to bug bomb it and spray it before I move anything in. I am so excited to get everything big moved in and out of the way at my parents house. They are in the middle of redoing the whole downstairs area of the house, so our house has been compacted to about half it's size, then all my apartment stuff got moved in and it is a huge mess!
Now it is time for Cuppie to go to Mazda and get a new key, and for us to go have a fun day at the water park. How do you all stay cool and have fun this summer? Any fun at home ideas?

I'm BACK
Hello Everyone!
Sorry I have been gone for awhile, was busy with the boyfriend and his family for the holiday's as well as 3 birthday's in 2 days!!
So what have Cuppie, Nikki and Cole been up to? Well, Cole and I set off fireworks on the 4th and had tons of fun doing it, even though we accidentally got a firework on his brothers roof..opps. We also, did some research on counter electric ranges. Which by the way are very different in styles and things they do!! I will say Cole's mom does have great taste in an awesome one, I hope she get's it so I can play with it too!
What happened today? Cole surprised me with another BIRTHDAY gift! YAY! I got some sparkly toms, I am sooo excited to wear them! Cole also got a pair of toms, some of the hemp ones, very awesome looking! Then he took me to FEDEX since we missed my delivery of my IPAD!! So we went to go get it, now I am looking up note taking apps for class, as well as new games for Cole and I to play and of course I am looking for a new inventory app for all of my Scentsy!!
So now that you all got the run down, who knows of a good cooktop? Who knows of some awesome apps for the IPAD and who knows of an inventory app.

The Surprises of New Apartments...
So, I got my keys, checked everything out and signed the papers! The I thought I should check the washer and dryer and my dishwasher! So i do and this nasty brown stinky water comes out of my dishwasher and washer! The water stunk so bad I had to leave the apartment, everyone says its because my apartment was empty for awhile and unused. We came back after the cycle and the smell was still there and a shirt had appeared in my washer. Very odd!
So today is soccer day, 3 games today between my sister, cole and I. I love having soccer day, it makes my day!! Today is also car day, time to go out to the strip and see everyone and talk about everything that happened this week with the cars. One guy lost control and drove in to a park, one guy had a fuel line explode and lost his whole car..this week should be a good catch up week.

So today is soccer day, 3 games today between my sister, cole and I. I love having soccer day, it makes my day!! Today is also car day, time to go out to the strip and see everyone and talk about everything that happened this week with the cars. One guy lost control and drove in to a park, one guy had a fuel line explode and lost his whole car..this week should be a good catch up week.

To Stillwater We Go..
So today, I go up to Stillwater to get my keys for moving in! I love Stillwater and can not wait to be there and back in school. It kinda get boring when there is nothing to do, but I am sure I will change my mind soon! I will post pictures of my new quadplex and share all about it after I get home!
Oh yes..lunch in Stillwater! The best part of going at noon! All the Joe's options!! What do I want today?! Not sure, but I know I will love it!
