School and Technology

Okay, so I am young and yes I love my android, ipad and ipod! But do I love all of my homework being online? No! I hate it, I have one company who doesn't know why my page is not fully loading, and yes my homework is due tomorrow and I have no way of doing it. Not to mention out of my 6 classes only 2 of them use the same online program, so I have 5 different programs that I have to use, and only one of them was free!

Why do teachers feel it is better to do everything online versus the way that it was done for years? I have spent 350+ on online programs for class, I would have never spent that much in paper if we did it the old way. I never thought that all of my classes would rely so heavily on the internet. So many factors could make it to where I can not do my homework.

So Cole has been spending some time in Stillwater with me. I love when he is around, not to mention who knows when he will get time off again once he goes back to work Monday. I still cant believe that he graduated and got offered a promotion so quickly! He is amazing!

That is us after graduation in the school shop. They had the ice cream truck there! I was so excited about that, I love the ice cream truck.

School, homework and a graduation

Well last week was jammed pack with school, tons of homework, a couple quizzes and Cole's graduation. I will say, this is not going to be an easy semester. I have such a crazy class schedule that I have no time for much of anything else. I can not wait till my night class ends and I have more time for homework.

I will try to update the side bar saying what giveaways are next and the giveaway page for this weeks giveaway tonight when I am done with class. I will hint at our giveaway, they do amazing invites and it's a good money saver!

So last week in Stillwater, I managed to not get lost, and to not have to go to walmart every day like almost the rest of campus. I also, found out how many places give me a discount and I love that, since I love to save money! I even learned who on campus has the best food. I also bought my season tickets, and can not wait to go to the games.

I also got to watch cole graduate on Friday. I am so proud of him to have made it this far and to see how much his job is going to do for him. Not to mention he already got asked if he would take a promotion! On a down side of the week, when cole and I both went home for dr appts last week his car started acting up. Not only did the body shop do a very poor job on the car, but now something is wrong with it under the hood. So now, they have to repaint some areas, fix some more body work and make the back door close all the way.

Up dates on us since the wreck, I still have not been able to go to the dr since surgery to keep working on my treatment, so I am still pretty sore. Cole went to the dr and he thinks he re tore his rotator cuff, which was just fixed 6 months ago and they think he has a broken
hip! I mean come on, can we catch a break! My poor laptop has 1400 in damage to it from it flying around during the wreck.

When I first started my blog this year and I thought about what I wanted to have as reviews and giveaways, I immediately thought of hair bows! They are my favorite fashion statement, even if I am 22! My first bow company to review of course would have to be Bow Bows 2 Go Go. Since Danielle is my sister, I have seen her bow work all along. I love my sister, and no this review will not be geared towards how great she is because we are related, I would never tell anyone to buy something I do not believe in! With that said, I could not wait to receive a bow from my sister!  This is the first bow she has given me and I was very excited! With all this said, on with the review!
Bow Bows 2 Go Go, sent me my first bow, okay she didn’t send it, she walked it to my room, non the less, I was very excited to test it out! I myself am 22, there for I put my bow to the test, I decided to treat it as a small child would treat their bow, that way you moms will know if it is going to hold up! I tugged, I pulled, I even got my bow wet, I didn’t want to at all! But Mother Nature decided it needed to rain, so against my will I left my bow on my head and let it get wet! What did I find out, my sister could really make a good hair bow! I pulled, tugged and attacked my bow and what happened? Nothing! My bow stayed together, I am very happy it did, I would have been sad if I had broken it! I will say, I did fall asleep with my bow on and it held up.  Bow Bows 2 Go Go sends all of their alligator clips lined in a matching ribbon, they also have the FREE option of adding some non stick tape to it. I wasn’t sure why I would need non slip, so I opted not to get it. I will say I LOVE this little mini tuxedo bow, its only about 2" in length! It is sooo cute and so me!!  Sorry, still trying how to learn to smile again! This surgery has made my smile look awkward..

Humid as can be..

Well last night and this morning it decided to rain in Stillwater. It is humid as can be, which is not good for me, not only do I try to hide my scars and missing hair by wearing my hair down, but my lovely kinky curly natural hair loves to kink in this weather. Guess I won't be hiding my scars today, guess it's already time to own up to them.

This whole big school, that's 10x the other schools I went to, is crazy! I do not know anyone yet, so I just sit in class and be quiet. I will say, I wish my sister and I had known there was a new classroom building on the other side of campus and that is where my second class was. I was just luckily to realize early and make it across campus just in time for class. Just 2 more classes to go, then dinner and homework time. I will say I was spoiled being a culinary student, my homework was done as I cooked dinner. Now they are 2 different task, oh well back to real college.

Ready For Class

Well, I am in Stillwater! I am ready for class tomorrow, okay well I am kinda ready, I go from 9-5 with an hour break between every class! But I can do it, time for homework and figuring out this huge campus! I will say, being in this town is AMAZING, ORANGE PRIDE any day over half the other colleges I have toured or gone too! I mean really how can you not LOVE this guy?

I am sad, Cole is at another OSU campus, about 2 hours away. I am gonna miss him very much, we do everything together. Good side, he graduates Friday, so he will only be an hour away soon! Big BONUS, I love being close to him! He is the best ever, he does sooo much for me its crazy!

So, my face is pretty normal again, I think I am 70% down in swelling. I do think I will have some scars on my left side, one of my stiches left a big divot in my face, I think it is because my sisters pug removed a scab early. She obviously pug attacked me! But, my face is pretty normal looking, just in time for class. I am glad that I wont look so funny in class, pretty amazing that about 2 1/2 weeks ago I had a major 6 hour surgery and you almost cant tell. I just look slightly chubby faced, but no one knew me here before, so no one will know the difference.

I will say, today, I wore my Bow Bow 2 Go Go bow they sent me! I LOVE it so far, can't wait to give you guys my review this week and show you the giveaway bow!! Who is ready for the first giveaway? Sad to Say

Well, our first sponsor, Taste of the Ozarks, is having to reschedule. Thay are having MAJOR computer issues and we hope to fit them in soon. I am very sad about this, yet slightly excited about it. Because hopefully by the time we figure the new date i will be able to eat again!

I couldnt be happier, due to the surgery and having some hair shaved off, I will be using bows ALOT in my hair to try and distract people's eye. I can not wait to tell everyone about the bow and how great or ungreat it may end up being!

*UPDATE* My stiches are out, well not the ones inside my mouth, but I will take it! I also got put on soft foods! Yay, I can add pasta, mashed potatoes, soggy cereal and biscuits and gravy! I'm gonna try some tortilla's I hope they are okay, but guess I will find out.

Well, today my sister's pug decided to let herself in my room while I was asleep. She then decided to jump on my face..this did not make me happy. I had already woken up in severe pain at 2am, so this did not help me at all, nor did it make me happy.

So Cole is coming home tonight because he has doctor appointments tomorrow to be seen since he hasnt seen once since the wreck. So apparently Cole's insurance called him today and said they are going to look at his car. But, the car has been at the body shop since 2 days after the wreck, so it has already been repainted, and started to be fixed. So now we have no idea what is going on. The car is in the middle of being fixed, so what good is it for them to NOW go look at it? We do not really understand this.

Excited, tomorrow I get my internet and cable turned on in my apartment in Stillwater! I am even more excited and scared to move in this weekend and start class Monday. I am still swollen, bruised and all scabbed. I just hope people dont think I am weird because of my face and the fact that I can not really talk normally. Guess we will find out, well time to go get a snack, then shower and get ready to go watch my mom and sister play soccer with Cole.
