Who doesn't love monograms and appliques? I know I sure do! You already know I love Etsy. Last year, I needed an Alabama baby shower gift for my friend who is from Alabama and was decorating her son's nursery in Alabama houndstooth and elephants. Sewphisticated Gifts had just what I was looking for and at a fabulous price. When the monogrammed/appliqued bib and burp cloth arrived in the mail, I was very impressed. I couldn't wait to give the gift to my friend. By the way, she loved it! I'm posting a picture of the bib, burp cloth, and matching onesie by Sewphisticated Gifts so you can see just how precious the Alabama set is for yourself.
Maybe you are looking for another college team or theme, Sewphisticated Gifts has it and if Elana (the owner) doesn't, I know she will work to find it for you. Her stuff is just so cute! There is really nothing else to say so I'll let the pictures do the talking. Be sure to visit her Etsy shop whenever you're looking for your next baby shower gift, birthday outfit for your child, or Walt Disney vacation t-shirt. Tell her I sent you!
If you would like a chance (or 2) at winning an appliqued onesie or t-shirt of your choice, be sure to fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Good Luck and thank you, Sewphisticated Gifts, for sponsoring this giveaway.

Tara's Cozy Creations' Review and Giveaway
It's time for another fantastic Etsy shop review. This review is perfect for moms of boys and girls. Every child has to sit in a carseat and those pesky carseat straps sure are annoying to the necks of babies and toddlers. If you're like me, you've shopped for cute strap covers at Toys R' Us or other stores but couldn't find the perfect color to match your child's carseat. When that happened to me, I turned to Etsy. That's where I found Tara's Cozy Creations. Tara makes fabulous reversible minky carseat strap covers, changepad covers, cribsheets, pillowcases, bibs, burpcloths, washcloths, security blankets, carseat canopy blankets, boppy covers, minky blankets, and more.
She offers so many styles and colors that you are sure to find just what you need. I love minky and when I saw that Tara makes a set of brown strap covers, I knew I had found the ones. Presley's infant carseat was a Safety1st with brown and pink floral designs. The brown strap covers I ordered were a perfect fit. They came with well-sewn velcro and upheld through every washing. Believe me when I say that they are washed often! Presley gets carsick quite often so to have a product that is durable through every washing is well worth the price. Guess what? The price ($8.00 plus shipping) is fabulous! So, why not buy several pair? You can buy some for your child/children and for shower gifts. The new mom will thank you for such a thoughtful gift! By the way, she always ships within 1-2 days of ordering. How's that for wonderful customer service?
Here's Presley (taken last fall) in her carseat with her Tara's Cozy Creations strap covers. Yes, she thinks she is one cool cat!
Thank you, Tara, for agreeing to this review and giveaway. Tara is so sweet! She's giving away 2 sets of carseat strap covers (You pick your color/material). That means we'll have 2 winners. So enter away and send your friends over! Be sure to let Tara know you appreciate her as well.

Fancy Dancy Boutique Review and Giveaway
Another great Etsy shop up for review is Fancy Dancy Boutique. I love to get Presley monogrammed stuff and decided a few weeks ago that it was time for some monogrammed
bloomers to go with her dresses. So, off to Etsy I went, looking for the perfect pair at the perfect price. DJ at Fancy Dancy Boutique had just what I was searching for. Her shipping
time is super fast, too. She has 3 machines constantly working so if you need something in a hurry, Fancy Dancy Boutique is there for you. I ordered Presley a pair with her initials
and then I ordered my friend, Amanda, a pair for her baby shower. Next, I'm ordering two pair for friends having little girls this fall. These precious bloomers make the perfect baby
shower gift and they are keepsakes. DJ also offers a discount once you've ordered your 4th pair.
As soon as you enter her Etsy shop, you'll find that she makes more than monogrammed/appliqued bloomers. She also does boxers, pillowcase dresses, dresses, burp cloths,
badge holders, jewelry, and more. I encourage you to browse her shop. She has all sorts of designs and appliques. You're sure to find just what you need. If not, contact DJ
because I know that she will work with you to make it happen.
Fancy Dancy Boutique has so graciously offered to give one of our lucky blog readers a pair of 1-initial monogrammed bloomers. Enter below for your chance to win. Good Luck!

Party In Style By Elle Review and Giveaway
What better way to start June off than with some fabulous Etsy reviews and giveaways! I want to share Party In Style By Elle with you today. Elizabeth, the shop owner, has the cutest custom-made party supplies. I found her last year while planning Presley's Curious George birthday party. My2lilpixies Review and Giveaway
I'm so excited to review another one of my favorite Etsy shops, My2lilpixies. My2lilpixies offers
nylon headbands, flower headbands, felt clips, hats, hair bows, baby shoes/crib shoes, ruffle bum bloomers, and a fabulous SALE section.
I ordered the shocking pink boutique size bow on the interchangeable light pink stretch headband for Presley. She wore it all the time. I'm including 3 pictures of her wearing it. When she outgrew it, I handed it down to her baby cousin. Who doesn't love hand-me-downs, especially precious bows and headbands? What's even more wonderful is the quality of the bow and headband. I bet Presley's baby cousin, who is now 1, could even hand it down to someone else. My2lilpixies' creations are made that well!
My2lilpixies is your place to find the perfect headband for your daughter, niece, grandaughter, cousin, etc. You'll get wonderful customer service and you'll definitely become a repeat customer. Pink Zebra with Tracy Review & Giveaway
Who has heard of Pink Zebra yet? I stumbled upon Pink Zebra recently and decided I should try it. I'm so glad I did! If you're a user of warmers and wax for your home then Pink Zebra is for you. I ordered the Fleur de lys Red/Rust Ceramic Simmer Pot ($20) with the Warm Apple Pie Sprinkles ($8). They arrived in precious pink zebra print boxes that you can definitely use again. I have a house full of Scentsy warmers so I'm used to melting wax to make my home smell wonderful but I have to brag on Pink Zebra products. The Warm Apple Pie Sprinkles do not smell like apple pie to me, more like berries. I still love them, though! That aside, I have to brag. I've never plugged in my other warmers and within a few minutes there be an instant aroma. My simmer pot is in my laundry room and yet it can quickly smell up my home and not just for minutes but for days. I loved the smell of my Warm Apple Pie Sprinkles so much that I put some in my daughter's Scentsy warmer in her bedroom. Dirty diapers no longer wreak havic on her bedroom anymore. I'm trying to decide what sprinkles to order next. Since I'm more of a cinnamon/fall scent lover, I think I'll try the Farm House Cider, Cinnamon Spice, and Red Delicious Apple next. There are so many scents and colors to choose from. Can you imagine buying several jars of sprinkles and layering the scents in a glass container to create a rainbow effect? I can hear the "Oohs and Ahhs" now!
Pink Zebra is a new direct sales company. Our consultant sponsor is Tracy Dillinger. Tracy does home parties and catalog/web parties. You can also order online from Tracy's online store. Tracy also participates in fundraising where she donates a portion of her profits to your organization. That's how I came across Tracy a few months ago. She was doing a fundraiser for Battle4aCure, one of my favorite organizations. Be sure to check them out at http://battle4acure.org and on facebook.
Pink Zebra offers Sprinkles, Simmer Pots in small and large sizes, Simmer Lights, Candles and Accessories, Re-Sealable Reed Diffusers, and Soaps and Lotions. Try them today! You'll be glad you did! If Pink Zebra sounds like a wonderful fit for you, contact Tracy. She'd love to have you on her team!
To win, a jar of Sprinkles (You pick the scent!) and a Simmering Lights Warmer with a Paisley Shade (pictured above) from Tracy, simply fill out the rafflecopter form below. Thanks again, Tracy, for this wonderful giveaway (a $48 retail value).

Celadon Road with Jennifer Vega-review by Ashley
In late December, I was delighted to receive a package in the mail filled with Celadon Road goodies. Celadon Road is another company that I had yet to hear of. I'm so glad that the box arrived because now I'm a lifelong fan. Now, I know I haven't tried all their products yet but so far I love all the ones I've tried. What's my favorite? So far, it's the Lavender Laundry Detergent. Jennifer sent me a sample to try. After I used it all, I ordered more. I'm almost out so that means I ordered some more from Jennifer this week. This time, I'm trying the Jasmine Laundry Detergent. Jennifer says it's her favorite!
Celadon Road is a direct sales company that promotes a more greener, healthier, more socially-responsible living. They offer the highest quality, natural, eco-friendly products for your everyday needs. As a parent and former teacher, I'm all for teaching my children to take care of the planet. We recycle, reuse containers, and try to reduce electricity and water as much as possible. With Celadon Road, I don't have to worry about harmful chemicals in their products, especially household cleaners. My family has to use a free and clear detergent because of skin sensitivity. Their Lavender Laundry Detergent is perfect for skin sensitivity and it smells so good. A little bit goes a long way and it makes my laundry room smell so good.
Jennifer also sent me the Stain Remover and Odor Eliminator. Let me start by talking about the Stain Remover. I've always been a big fan of Oxy Clean but the Celadon Road Stain Remover Spray works just as well and doesn't have any harmful chemicals. My daughter had a white eyelet tiered-ruffle dress from the Gap that she had outgrown. I wanted to consign it but found a small yellow stain on the bottom ruffle so to the CR Stain Remover I went and the stain was gone forever. The Odor Eliminator Spray works great in your bathroom and boy does it work instantly! What I love most about the Odor Eliminator is its abiltiy to make my truck smell better and fast. My daughter gets car sick. Her poor carseat has been thrown up on too many times to count. I keep the Odor Eliminator tucked in the pocket behind my driver's seat so that I can spray it as needed. Let's just say that my truck does not smell like throw-up anymore.
I recently ordered the All Purpose Spray since my husband found out that mixing household chemicals can cause mustard gas (FYI-Mustard gas is DEADLY if inhaled!). I also ordered the Lemongrass Hand Soap for my laundry room and the Lemongrass Bar Soap for my son. I love its smell as well-very lemony. My next soap purchase will be the lavender because I just love the way they make their lavender-scented products smell with just the right amount of lavender that's not too overbearing.
I give Celadon Road my stamp of approval and I hope that you will try them, too. The products not only work but they're great for the environment. You can host a party, order online, or become a consultant. They not only sell cleaning products, but they offer skin & haircare for men & women, sports bottles, petcare, jewelry, babycare, toys, journals, artprints, and recycled products. I hope that you will take steps in going green by trying Celadon Road. You'll be glad you did!

Thirty One Gifts with Angela
Thirty One Gifts with Angela
Thirty – One Gifts is a company started by a women on the east coast. It has now grown to a direct sells company, like other sponsors on our blog. The company is huge on family time, serving God and making sure customers are happy! Recently, I was sent a bag, the Organizing Utility tote. I use it for everything and have decided that I need to purchase several more! One for each car, which I have almost done, found some used ones at a garage sale, a few to hold dog items and then maybe some to hold books. The Organizing Utility tote measures approximately 10.35″ H x 15.5″ W x 6.5″D. It is made from extra tough nylon so you know it's not going to be a one season bag. Oh and lets not forget the stain resistant lining, making this bag perfect with kids, think baby shower gift, for the friend expecting! With 7 side pockets you are sure to find everything you want in the tote its own spot! The Organizing Utility tote is currently available in 12 different colors and designs, so it matches any place you could need it.
some ideas on what you could use the tote for
Personally I used my tote for the car, which is perfect to keep all your winter, cleaning or emergency items in one neat place. My bag has about 7 different cleaners in it, jumper cables, reflectors, blanket, towels and a first aid kit in case of emergency. I must say the 2 mesh side pockets were great for my big tub cleaners that wouldnt fit in the other standard pockets, but that was fine, because they hold air freshers, window cleaner, tine shine and a few other items. The middle compartment is where everything else is, it is huge and holds everything! I think the best think about this bag is that I dont have to search my trunk for something when I need it, its in my bag ready for me to pull it out!
31 gifts even offers personalization for most of their products, for only $7. I love this idea because their products make the perfect gifts and now you can add a little something special by having it personalized for the recipient. You can find the perfect baby shower, bridal shower gift or present for any occasion. Even if you are just looking for a way to spoil yourself.
I really want to try their new mini utility bins, for in the home and car! I think they would be perfect to hold my kcups and be a cute trash bag in the car and best part is right now, when you spend $31, they are only $8 till the end of the month! So get those orders in!
This one is Angela's, she uses hers for laundry items! How smart is that!
I dont have any pictures from my bag because my car is in the shop for some work. I hope to have it back soon so I can post some pictures!
Do you want to win your own tote? Enter using the form below! Good Luck and remember to say thanks to our sponsor!

Mary's Homemade Sweets and Goodies Review by Ashley
Recently, I received a jar of Mary's homemade apple butter all the way from Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She had neatly tucked it into a round teddy bear tin. So upon unwrapping it, I knew that the tin would hold something homemade like Grandmother used to make. The next day, I fixed biscuits for my son and I for breakfast. We spooned some yummy apple butter atop our warm biscuits and enjoyed. My son, Christian, went crazy over it. "Mom this is delicious," he said. I liked how it had little bits of apple in the butter. I've never had apple butter like
that before. Usually, apple butter is creamy but since I'm a person that craves texture in my food, it was so nice to find some texture in my apple butter.
For your chance to win a jar of Mary's homemade apple butter be sure to follow the directions below. Be sure to check out Mary's facebook page to order your own apple butter. Good Luck! A very special thank you goes to Mary for being our sponsor, for sending me some yummy apple butter, and for the free gift she enclosed in my apple butter package. :)

My Little Cutie Pies Review by Ashley
I LOVE ETSY! I talk about it all the time and order from it often. I shop Etsy first when I'm looking for baby shower gifts and other gifts as well. Many people still have no clue what Etsy is. So right this very minute, open up another window and check out etsy.com. I promise you'll be hooked!I have a series of Etsy reviews and mylittlecutiepies is my very first. All of the Etsy reviews that I'm doing are on products that I've recently purchased for my children or as gifts. I would like to thank, Laura, the shop owner for agreeing to the review and giveaway. Let me first start by saying that Laura is just such a sweetheart. I messaged her on Etsy 2 years
ago before I gave birth to my daughter, Presley. I was shopping for a monogrammed pink minky pillow (without a bow) and Laura had just what I needed. Her prices were very reasonable and she went out of her way to design the pillow just the way I wanted it. Laura also makes pillow case dresses, rhinestone applique shirts, personalized wall hangings, and monogrammed aprons, in addition to precious lil' pillows. You will have to excuse my picture of Presley's pillow. She threw up on it the other day so I had to wash it but as you can see by the picture, it held up well. Thanks again, Laura!

Body by Vi Review Part 2
As most of you know Ashley and I were both sent Visalus to try out for a week and see how we liked it and if we thought it worked. You can read Ashley's review here, and let me tell you, she LOVES it. It has helped her and she is dropping weight! Body by Vi Part 1
Since Ashley covered how it works, and all the not so fun stuff to read, I will just tell you my view on the product.
Body by Vi taste AMAZING, and its cost isnt much more then some other shakes you can buy at the store, plus with them, you have a chance to get yours for FREE! I personally have a bad sweet tooth sometimes and thats what makes my weight not so awesome at times. For me this shake is great, I can make it taste like a smoothie or I can make it make it sweet to help my cravings. Body by Vi has a great base of ideas for you to make for your shake, and there are tons of recipes that the distributors can give you that they use.
Whats the cost? Well, its about $50 a month, for one shake a day, so its about $1.70 a shake. Which when you think about it could be less then what the meal would cost you are replacing. Personally, having a shake that gives me a better balance, helps curb hunger and saves me money is awesome! I have lost about 5 pounds over my 2 weeks that I tried the shakes. While I do watch my calories and eat all day, the shake kept me from cheating on my diet and kept me satisfied.
Do I recommend this product? Sure do! Cole even wants to try it, so i think we will be saving up to buy some soon! Do you want to try and win yourself a FREE sample?

Wildtree with Erin Review and Giveaway by Ashley
Hi Everyone! This is Ashley. I recently received a jar of Wildtree Hearty Spaghetti Sauce Blend in the mail. I don't know about you but I had never heard of Wildtree until my package arrived...so to the internet I went. My Wildtree product was sent to me by Erin Girard, a Wildtree consultant. If you're like me, you may be thinking..."What is Wildtree?" Well, today I'm going to teach you something new!
Wildtree is a direct selling company that launched in 1999. Before its launch, its founder made products out of her home and attended fairs and shows with her products. It was founded on the premise that food should be natural, nutritious, delicious, and easy to prepare-all at the same time. {I found this info from Wildtree's catalog.} Wildtree offers over 150 food items, including breads, soups, culinary blends, sauces, dressings, salsas, marinades, desserts, and the finest expeller pressed Grapeseed oils. Just from reading the info on Erin's site, I learned that Grapeseed oil is better for you than olive oil. After looking at the catalog and browsing online, I was instantly hooked. What is even better about Wildtree is that there are no additives, preservatives, MSG, nuts, or dyes in their foods. In a world, where almost every single person is allergic to something, it's nice to know that Wildtree offers products that are safe and healthy for your family. My son cannot eat or drink foods with certain red dyes so I'm appreciative of Wildtree's efforts.
On to the product review, Erin sent me the Hearty Spaghetti Sauce Blend. All I had to do was combine 1 tbsp. of the blend with a 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes (I used diced.) and I had instant spaghetti sauce. I cooked it for a little less than 20 minutes, added some angel hair pasta and diced Italian-seasoned grilled chicken to it, and I had the best meal. It felt so good knowing what I was eating was actually healthy for me. Take a look at the pic. Of course, I had to top it with some grated parmesan cheese.
Look at the picture of the Spanish Style Garlic Shrimp and the Crab Cakes!!! You will definitely be hungry after visiting Erin's site. Interview Day Again
I got another interview! I am so excited, even though where I am applying to will not be open for over another month, I will be relieved if I can find something for this summer. Don't want to say to much other then, thank goodness that I got another interview, I am so excited. I am all ready and dressed up for my interview this afternoon, but first I have class, hotel lab and a drive down to the city for the interview.
I decided with this tough economy, I would give out some tips on how to interview and sell yourself for the job you want, even if you are "over qualified", which seems to be a big problem for me. So here are some tips that I have gotten from seminars and classes about how to interview.
~Make them want you, sell them why you are great and what you could bring to the company
~Know about the company, know what makes them great, see if they are expanding and say you would love to grow with them
~Figure out what the competitive pay is, but dont sell your self short or ask to much, this is a tough market right now, employers have options and you want to be competive
~Dress for the position you want, dont over dress or under dress for what your applying for
~Dont talk negatively about past experiences, instead say it was a challenge that you had to learn to overcome
~Dont have a long resume, its a known fact they only look at a resume for under one minute, highlight every job that will make you stand out, keep it to one page
~Smile, remember, they want a friendly, outgoing and serious employee, not a dead doornail
Do you do interviews? Do you have any tips on what I havnt covered? Send me an e-mail and let me know! I would love to know tips on what to do and what not to do!

Do You Bake? with Sheri
With this review, I would like to introduce you to a not so well known direct sales company called "Do You Bake?" based out of Pennsylvania with independent consultants for the company all over the United States. This amazing company has a home-based business plan where women and men can join the company and sell the products at home shows & catalog shows to make additional income. Like other direct sales companies, you are in charge of what you make and how big you want your business to be. If you are looking to make money from home by selling delicious gourmet food products then you need to check out "Do You Bake?". They are an all natural company, that doesnt even make the mixes till you order, keeping freshness at its highest! Our Do You Bake? consultant Sheri, is based out of Texas, but can ship orders anywhere!
The company offers a wide variety from dip mixes, bread mixes, hot & cold beverage mixes, dessert mixes, rice & pasta mixes, snack mixes, cookie mixes, spices & seasonings and a whole lot more! The company site even has ideas and recipes right there to help you plan your meals! Which is great for the parent on the go, or for a parent to send to their broke college kid!
Sheri sent me the Coffee Cake mix, the mix is 6 ingredients packed into 3 packages. To the mix, I was told to add 1 cup butter, 1 cup sour cream, 2 tablespoons vanilla and 2 eggs. I will say, I altered the butter slightly, seeing as I am trying to watch my fat intake, I cut it down to 1/2 cup butter and a 1/2 cup applesauce.
I LOVE how they label everything so there is no mix up and no mistakes, not to mention I feel like someones mom made this for me!
The instructions were great! Super easy and I am sure anyone can make this cake. You start by creaming your butter and sugar mix, then you add the eggs, vanilla and sour cream, mix a little then add bag two. Then you melt some butter and add it to bag 3 to make the crumb. When your all done, about 5 minutes later, you have this.
This batter was delicious, I had to taste it before it went for its trip to the 350 degree oven for about 35 minutes. Let me just say my whole house smelled AMAZING! It smelled all day and even part of the next morning, i love when I bake and I love how simple it was to bake this! They say that their mix prepared their way with normal ingredients is about 320 calories per serving. If you substitute like I did for the butter and then do light sour cream like I did, you have a great 250 calorie snack!
Look at this cake! Isnt it the perfect golden brown? With the right amount of crumb...oh let me tell you how amazingly moist it was and how not over powering it was with my tea for snack that day!
That had to be my favorite after class snack and the breakfast for the next few mornings in awhile. I mean you cant really beat the simplicity of it or the fact it is all natural and for about $1 a serving after buying the mix and the other items needed to make it, its not crazy expensive like I have seen some other companies prices be. This mix is only $7.75 and makes 16 servings of oh so yummy goodness.
So are you ready to give them a try? Head on over to Sheri's website and see all the great meal solutions, slow cooker kits and even the dog treats! I mean this company has it all and its all a great price! Are you ready to win some Do You Bake? gift certificates? Two lucky winners will win $5 to shop with Sheri!
